Ali Cook

Ali CookAli's irreverent persona and respected sleight of hand have made him one of the pioneers of the alternative magic scene. He has already written and performed seven British television series.

His anarchic illusions and stand up have attracted a large and diverse audience appeal including: The Harry Potter Premiere Parties, private events for Damien Hirst, JK Rowling, Minnie Driver, Basement Jaxx as well as headlining comedy clubs.

Ali's latest film role is alongside Bob Hoskins in Outside Bet (due for release in 2012). In between his film acting roles Ali has written and produced his own short film “The Enchanter: The Crime Fighting Magician” directed by Adrian Vitoria.

His 2008 Edinburgh debut sold out with four star reviews and moved to the West End, again to sell-out audiences. His 2010 show, Pieces of Strange, was in the top 2% of best reviewed shows according to The British Comedy Guide. 2011 saw his third sell-out Edinburgh show, Principles and Deceptions, which was nominated for a 6 star award.

“A pleasing mixture of cheesy and sinister”
Brian Donaldson, The List

‘His manic charm means you’ll instantly be drawn in. He does eat razor blades and it does get a bit gruesome, but when it’s this astonishing, you won’t mind.”

Dave Twentyman

Dave TwentymanEffortlessly funny and quick on his feet, Dave Twentyman endears himself to the toughest of audiences as an act or compere.

Dave started his career in the Northwest and by his 11th gig was making his first appearance on live television in 'Made in the Northwest' in 2003.

After being recommended by Alan Carr he was also a regular guest on BBC Radio Manchester and XFM for a number of years.

Travelling around the UK and beyond, Dave has built a reputation as a consistently great act with his cheeky, chatty style. Delivering light hearted gags and stories you can't help relating too.

He is no stranger to music festivals too, having gigged at the Leeds Festival three years in succession to thousands of people.

Dave also writes a weekly column in the local paper in his home town of St Helens, were some suggest he probably abuses his position to constantly torment the occupants of the neighbouring town of Wigan.

Dave now also proudly features on the Blackpool Comedy Carpet (www.comedycarpet.com) which is a new tourist attraction featuring the names of comedy greats from past and present.

Scott Bennett

Scott BennettScott is one of the brightest new talents on the circuit, with a warm, engaging stage manner and delivery that belie his relatively short time in the industry. Since bursting onto the circuit in October 2009, Scott has charmed audiences with his delightfully witty comic observations about life’s little quirks, relationships and the subtleties of human behaviour.
