Following on from last years brilliant event, Bartons are looking forward to this years  fantastic FREE event for families and kids.

Venue: Beeston Square 11am - 1pm and Bartons, 63 High Road Chilwell, from 1pm - 5pm

Live Music with Bana Congo from 11am - 1pm in Beeston Square
Come and experience an exotic blend of traditional & modern African music including Rumba, Salsa, Reggae and Makosa - perfect for creating that Carnival vibe. Bana Congo are a fabulous Congolese band from Derby with a combination of English and African Musicians. They have performed in many carnivals & festival events around the region.

Creative Arts Workshops, displays and 'tasters' from 1pm - 5pm at Bartons, 63 High Road, Chilwell
Broxtowe Borough Council in partnership with the 'Carnival of Monsters' Contemporary Art Show, are inviting children and adults to come and take part in a range of interactive creative workshops with culturally diverse artists and voluntary groups who have been inspired by the carnival theme.
