X-WR-CALDESC:\n\nThe Monsters took over Beeston!\n\n\nThe Carnival of Monsters festival of contemporary arts 2011\nWe've closed the doors on the Carnival of Monsters 2011 for this year but I think I can speak for everyone involved in running the event, from artists to organisers, that the Carnival of Monsters surpassed our expectations. From a simple idea concocted in a pub back in March to an art event that gave a platform to the biggest collection of East Midlands artists ever. We estimate at least 4 thousand people showed up to see our festival. A big thankyou to all those who gave their time and support, we couldn't have done it without you. We hope to be back in 2012, and we hope you'll be there again to help support, to exhibit and to join in with the fun. What an amazing time we had, many thanks... The Carnival of Monsters. \nIf you've happened upon this site and you've missed the festival please still take time out to look at the East Midlands artists who participated in the festival in our artist pages. If you are a professional artist working in the East Midlands who would like to be featured in our artist pages, or even to be considered for our 2012 festival please drop us an email.\nIf you've got a link to a review of the festival, an article or even to some images then again please let us know and we'll feature them on this page.\nWe'll keep you all informed here about 2012! we're looking forward to it already!\nSome Reviews, we've found on the net:\nThis is Nottingham\nHelen Hallows\nBartons\nSue Bulmer\nN.O.N\nNottingham Scene\nNottingham Evening Post\nIMPACT Magazine
