Sean Meo

Sean-Meo-smSean Meo has been a stand up comic since 1989. Prior to that, he had been a full time snooker player and was a quarter finalist in the English Amateur Championships of 1987. He has risen to the very top of the UK comedy scene and regularly headlines at Jongleurs and The Comedy Store where he is a leading member of The Cutting Edge. Starting 1998 as Time Out Comic Of The Year, he appeared at the Kilkenny, Cork and Montreal Comedy Festivals and made his Edinburgh Festival debut in Catch 23. As well as acting in a movie "Comic Act" for the first time, he starred in four television commercials for the Vauxhall Vectra SRI.

Steve Royle

Steve-Royle-smBeing a juggler, Steve Royle is well suited to radio. It has often been commented that he as the face for it too. . .

Steve is a comedian, actor, writer, BBC Radio presenter, husband and Dad. His wife, Janet, actually went into labour with their first child, Daisy, whilst Steve was presenting live on air with Sally Naden!

For over 12 years Steve could be found in the guise of "Mad Edgar" the court jester at Camelot theme park where he presented over 2000 "Crazy Juggling Shows". He has also supported both Peter Kay and Dave Spikey on tour and was voted "Entertainer of the Year" at the recent Red Rose Awards.

His many TV appearances have included "Phoenix Nights", "Max & Paddy", "Behind The Scene", "That's Entertainment", "Stand-up Britain", "Give Your Mate A Break", "The Afternoon Show", "Talk Of The North", "The Things You Do For Love", and despite being one of the North West's healthiest males, a medical insurance commercial for "Medicash".

Steve is also co-founder of the "Slaughterhouse- Live" ("Laughter" with an "S") character comedy nights. The group regularly perform at "The Comedy Store" and they were nominated in the "best touring show" category at the Manchester Comedy Awards, losing out to Peter Kay!

Carly Smallman

Carly Smallman sings funny songs.  She was born in 1985, but didn’t begin performing stand-up comedy until 2009.  Her unique blend of outrageous impropriety and adorable sincerity has established her as a firm favourite on the comedy circuit.  She has played at some fabulous venues including Banana Cabaret, The Udderbelly, The Komedia, Soho Theatre and The Stand to name but a few.

She has appeared doing stand-up on THE ROB BRYDON SHOW (BBC2), was a regular cast member for hidden camera show SECRET INTERVIEW (Channel 5), moaned about irritating individuals on THE MOST ANNOYING PEOPLE 2011 (BBC3), and criticised people’s life choices on THE TOP 50 PLASTIC SURGERY SHOCKERS (E4).  She has also written and performed sketches for BBC Comedy Online, and has been heard on WHAT’S SO FUNNY (BBC Radio 4 Extra) with Rufus Hound.
